More snow is expected in Belgium this week, according to the latest forecast by Belgium’s Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI) on Monday.

The sky will be grey all day on Monday, and snow will continue to fall in the Ardennes, with the provinces of Liège, Namur and Luxembourg being on yellow alert for slipperiness due to snow.

Meanwhile the rest of the country can expect melting snow and light rainfall.

Temperatures will range from -1 degree Celsius in the High Fens (Hautes Fagnes) to 4 degrees at the seaside.

The chance of snow remains throughout the evening, though the weather will become generally dry after midnight, with minimum temperatures between -3 and 3 degrees expected.

The snow and cloud cover will continue over the next few days, according to the RMI’s predictions.
