The Antwerp police have arrested a woman suspected of delivering drugs in a residential area in Kapellen, discovering 41 grams of cocaine in her car and €6,100 in cash during a house search, the police reported on Saturday.

An anonymous team from the Drug Support Team (DOT) noticed the woman in a rental car on 18 June, driving swiftly while using her mobile phone. She was discreetly followed to a residential area in Kapellen, where she briefly entered a house and then continued towards Sint-Job-in’t-Goor.

“The woman from the villa was checked by another team and admitted to buying cocaine from the woman with the rental car. The rental car driver was also stopped, and 41 grams of cocaine were found in her vehicle. During a house search, the DOT found a small amount of cocaine for personal use and €6,100,” said the police.

The drugs, money, car, and her mobile phone were confiscated. After her arrest, the woman was brought before the investigating judge, who decided to release her.
