The Royal Meteorological Institute, IRM, has issued a yellow alert for strong winds on Wednesday from 10:00 to 21:00, especially in three provinces.
The affected areas are East Flanders, West Flanders, and Hainaut.
Rainfall zones linked to an Atlantic depression will move across the country from the west, according to the IRM.
These weather conditions will bring strong winds, particularly in the western half of Belgium, with gusts expected to reach between 70 km/hr and 80 km/hr.
In some isolated areas, gusts could exceed this range, especially during thunderstorms, the IRM warned.
