The Flemish government has moved its operations to a new location amid an investigation into a break-in that took place on 7 December.
While the weekly council of ministers and subsequent press conference being held today would normally take place at the Errera House; this will now happen at the Martelarenplein, VRT reports.
According to the Flemish news agency, a reliable source informed them that a woman broke into the government office on Tuesday, prompting an investigation into whether there is a resulting security risk.
The public prosecutor's office confirmed that the intruder was confronted by the building's caretaker. However, it is not clear who was involved as the woman in question fled the scene. Camera images are being reviewed to determine her identity.

"The lady was able to walk in through the front door because workmen were present," explained Sarah Durant of the Brussels Public Prosecutor's Office. "Now it turns out that the lady has stolen a book and a bunch of dried flowers."
A missing book and bunch of flowers are perhaps little cause for concern but it is also possible that the woman hacked into a computer.
Initially, the Errera House was used mainly for ceremonial affairs but early last year, Minister-President Jan Jambon (N-VA) decided that the councils of ministers would be held there.
The 18th century building serves as the official residence of the Flemish government.
