From sun to snow to continuous grey skies. One would be forgiven to no longer trust weather forecasts in light of the recent weather in Belgium, as it seems to fluctuate so frequently.
But the forecast for the start of next week is one many will wish to believe. According to the week's weather forecast published by the Royal Meteorological Institute (KMI), sunnier days are coming our way (at least for now).
While Sunday started out mostly sunny across many regions in Belgium, towards midday and in the afternoon, thicker clouds are expected to develop. These clouds are expected to lift on Monday when the sun will start to appear across the country.
"Monday will be mild with sunshine, sometimes veiled by medium and high clouds," according to KMI. The high temperatures will range from 12°C in the southeast of Belgium to 17°C in the centre of the country. A moderate wind will blow from east to south-east.
On Tuesday, the weather will be very mild, KMI stated. The maximum temperatures will be between 16 and up to 21°C in Flanders and Brussels due to a southerly wind.
It will be fairly sunny in most places, but by the end of the day, some clouds may appear. By Wednesday, a weak rain zone will pass over the country, resulting in heavy clouding with light rain. By Thursday, temperatures will drop by several degrees, and the chances of heavy rain will increase across most of Belgium.
