The Brussels Couleur Café festival has been deemed a success, with Friday and Saturday completely sold out.

In total, some 67,000 festival-goers gathered over three days at Ossegem Park, just next to the Atomium in Brussels.

Following two years of absence due to the pandemic, the Couleur Café urban music festival organised a total of 60 concerts for its 31st edition.

"It was incredibly pleasant to come back, despite the weather. And it was even more beautiful to see everyone dancing, even in the rain," said Dennis Corbesier, spokesperson for Couleur Café.

This edition was a success, according to the organizers. No incident was recorded in terms of violence or drug use, they note.

"Unlike many other festivals, we have a particularly large female audience. Two-thirds of the festival-goers are women," Corbesier says.

The dates for the 2023 edition have not yet been revealed.
