On Monday evening, two toddlers were abandoned at the Plopsaqua water park's outdoor swimming pool, in the Walloon municipality of Hannut.
"One of our stewards had noticed some movement on a pile of bags," Plopsaqua's general manager, Steve van den Kerkhof, told Belga News Agency.
What they discovered was a six month-old infant and a one and a half year-old child.
