Fire destroyed several hectares of vegetation in Esneux, Liège Province, on Thursday afternoon.
This was reported by the local fire services, who had to call in major resources to contain the fire.
The fire brigade said it received a call for the wildfire at about 4.30 pm. The blaze had the size of about five football fields, or several hectares, it said.
The brigade received support from the civil defence service.
No one was injured in the fire.
