Due to works, train traffic was interrupted on Monday morning between Antwerp-Noorderdokken and Essen.
However, rail network operator Infrabel reported that replacement buses are running.
The interruptions are caused by renovation works on the tracks, sleepers and overhead wires. They had already started this weekend, but some of the works were not completed on time.
Travellers are advised to plan their routes via SNCB's route planner.
