After a weekend feeling like real summer days, with up to 25.5°C recorded on Saturday in Brussels, the weather will take on a more autumnal character over the next few days, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute.

Monday will start under partly to sometimes very cloudy skies, with the possibility of a little rain in some places in Belgium.

During the afternoon, the weather will become dry, and sunny spells will develop from the south of the country. The maximum temperatures will range from 15 degrees in northern Belgium to 19 or even 20 degrees in the east.

Tuesday morning will be very cloudy with some rain or showers. Fairly quickly, drier weather and sunny spells will return except in northwest Belgium. The maximums will vary between 11 and 14 degrees south of the Sambre and Meuse trench and 15 to 17 degrees elsewhere.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will generally be dry with alternating sunny and cloudy spells. The maximum temperatures will range between 11 and 14 degrees. At the end of the day on Thursday, rain and sometimes even heavy showers will make a comeback.
