The Lower Semois, Our, Vierre and their tributaries were placed on flood alert on Monday evening, according to the latest update by the Walloon public service’s Hydrometry Portal.

The flow of several rivers remains high or has increased once again due to the heavy rainfall, according to the portal.

Other rivers in the south of the country are in the pre-flood warning phase.

These are: the Upper and Lower Ourthe, Upper Semois, Lower and Upper Lesse, Upper Meuse (upstream and downstream), Lower Semois, Upper Sambre, Viroin, Chiers, Sûre and their tributaries.
