Investigation launched following discovery of human remains in empty building in Sint-Truiden

A body was found on Thursday in a squat on the Tiensesteenweg in Sint-Truiden.

Local police and fire brigade discovered the body at around 3pm the unused building, which used to be a petrol station.

The Limburg public prosecutor’s office is investigating.

A forensic team and the federal technical and scientific police were called in to make the initial findings.
