The lifeless body of a man was discovered on Monday in a car that fell into the Meuse river in Namur, Wallonia, last Thursday, the Namur Prosecutor’s Office announced.
The vehicle fell into the river while the victim was reversing onto the towpath alongside the river, not far from the Namur CHRSM hospital.
Rescuers were only just recently able to recover the vehicle due to adverse weather conditions, which complicated the search.
