The Brussels Times's weekly image compilation is back, bringing you the five images that captured the Belgian news week from 5 to 10 March.
We were treated to a wide array of images throughout the week, which included everything from terror trial testimonies to serious sporting efforts, as well as striking statues, governmental decisions and even a snowy still shot from one of our readers.
Traumatic testimonies

Belgium is currently in the middle of its biggest-ever trial to bring those responsible for the 2016 terror attacks to justice. Various explosions throughout the capital killed 32 people in attacks that were subsequently claimed by Daesh terrorists.
This week, multiple victims were heard by the court, where they shared their experiences on that fateful day as well as the resulting injuries they suffered.
Wout's week to the knees

Belgium's cycling superstar Wout van Aert is currently competing at the Tirreno-Adriatico cycling race in Italy, attempting to bring home another victory for Belgian fans.
In this picture taken on Tuesday, we can directly see the taxing physical effort of such competitions.
Lions' share of strikes

This week saw a wide range of strikes having occurred throughout Belgium. These included a trade union protest on International Women's Day as well as a nationwide rail strike on Friday.
In the picture seen above, we can see the public services strike that took place on Tuesday, where firefighters and emergency services gathered in front of the Saint-Michel Cathedral to call for improved investments.
Light at the end of the tunnel?

The Belgian Government reached an agreement on Thursday which they hope will put an end to the country's ongoing crisis regarding the reception of asylum seekers.
Just this week, a large number of asylum seekers were evacuated and rehoused after having been forced to sleep in tents alongside the capital's canal.
Let it snow
