A road accident took place on Sunday night at around 1am in the immediate vicinity of the Church of Our Lady of Laeken, local police in Brussels-Capital – Ixelles have learned.
The car went out of control on a bend and ended up overturned on its roof. Firefighters were called to free the three people inside the vehicle, but by the time they arrived the occupants were already out, there was no extrication required.
The three people were taken to hospital, two of whom are “in a critical condition”, police said.
