Police in Charleroi issued an appeal for witnesses on Tuesday, at the request of an investigating judge, in connection with the rape of a 20-year-old woman on 30 April.
The crime occurred in a house near Rue des Tanneurs in Gosselies, Hainaut Province. The assailant, who was not identified, fled towards Courcelles Road afterwards.
The 20-year-old victim was raped on a footpath near Rue des Tanneurs in Gosselies on Sunday 30 April 2023, between 14:30 and 15:30. After the incident, the assailant fled towards Courcelles Road. He is between 25 and 30 years old, about 1.75m tall, of normal build, with blond hair and light eyes.
Police say the suspect was wearing a black jacket and a coloured scarf at the time of the incident.
