As predicted by the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI), the morning gloom gave way to what will be a sunny sky in most regions of Belgium on Saturday, with temperatures reaching 22°C. Possible thundershowers are expected in the evening.
The blue sky is expected to remain over the west and northwest of the country, while other areas will become cloudy throughout the day. Stormy weather is expected, especially south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow.
Short bouts of heavy rainfall will then occur in the centre of the country during the afternoon and evening, with a risk of strong winds.

The maximum temperatures will vary between 15°C at the seaside and in the upper Ardennes, and 21 or 22°C in the centre of the country. The warmer weather will give way to possible thunderstorms in the evening.
Sunday will see mostly the same beginning as Saturday, with morning clouds replaced by sunny skies. Later on, a few possible thundershowers may develop over the southeastern part of the country. Temperatures will reach a maximum of 21°C, while the coast will be cooler with a maximum of 15°C.
