Works by the public transport company STIB in Brussels to replace a railroad switch between the Gare du Midi station and the Clemenceau station will continue on Friday 31 May.

The metro lines 2 and 6 will be partially interrupted during the works, as they will take place from the beginning to the end of the service.

This Friday, the metro line 2 will only circulate between the stations Elisabeth and Porte de Hal. The subways of line 6 are simply connecting the Gare de l'Ouest and Roi Baudouin stations.

The frequency of the tram lines that are already in place will be higher between the affected stations. Shuttle buses will also serve as a replacement for the metro lines.

All information about the works, routes and frequencies of the shuttle buses and extra trams can be found on the STIB website: www.mivb.brussels.
