Brussels Airport was evacuated on Tuesday night due to a false bomb threat, following another false bomb threat at Brussels Gare du Nord on Monday.

A false bomb threat led to the evacuation of Brussels Airport Zaventem on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, shortly after midnight, according to the Brussels Airport Company spokesperson.

The departure and arrival halls were evacuated to allow the police to search the premises. The passengers from a plane that had just landed were able to exit via a different route.

Only an hour after the evacuation, the airport was cleared as the police could not find anything suspicious, according to the spokesperson.
