Antwerp's public transport network is severely disrupted after bus drivers went on an unannounced strike, transport company De Lijn announced on Friday.
Employees from the transport company have gone on strike after a bus driver was attacked on Thursday in one of the city's bus lines, according to a statement by De Lijn.
The driver was reportedly punched in the face by an unidentified attacker, and he is unable to work for some days.
Several of the city's bus lines are not operating, but tram lines are running normally so far, according to De Lijn.
