Firefighters in Belgium faced an unusual and delicate operation on Saturday morning.
An unexpected incident occurred in Bassenge as, for reasons still unknown, a horse ended up trapped in a swimming pool. Early eyewitnesses called in firefighters for an unconventional rescue.
L'Avenir reports that witnesses alerted the emergency services around 8:45 am after noticing the horse in a private pool at a residence in Glons. Initial assessments indicated that the horse had spent a portion of the night in the water, but appeared to remain in good health.
The animal rescue team was called in for reinforcement. By 10:30 am, the horse was successfully extracted from the pool without any visible injuries. The animal seems to have suffered no lasting harm from its unexpected dip.
