A driver was arrested in Liège after causing a dangerous traffic disruption over the weekend.
The Liège prosecutor’s office revealed the incident on Sunday, noting the individual in question refused to comply with a police check.
The motorist allegedly engaged in rash driving down Sauvenière Boulevard, endangering a police officer in the process.
Following the arrest, the suspect was detained and questioned before being presented to the Liège prosecutor’s office.
As part of their investigation, authorities will now determine whether the suspect, previously known to law enforcement, was driving under the influence during the incident.
