On the 13th and 14th of July, the Gallo-Roman Rendez-vous will take place at Malagne, Archéoparc de Rochefort.
There will be a reenactment of clashes between Celtic and Roman troops, and visitors can discover what life was like thousands of years ago.
Archery competitions, jousting, and more will be on display. Artisans will also be at the festival and will teach visitors to be an archer, mosaicist, baker, or gladiator.
There will be food and beer from the time period, and the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa will be open for visitors.
The festival takes place from 11:00 to 18:00 on Saturday and Sunday and is located at Rue du Coirbois 85.
Tickets are 9.80 euro for adults and 5.50 euro for children.
