Police in Charleroi shot 15 rubber bullets to stop a man who was wielding a machete while vandalizing five cars on Saturday.
According to Charleroi’s prosecutor’s office, the man had got angry with his mother and started to threaten her.
Armed with a machete, the man left the flat and started to vandalise his mother’s and neighbours cars. In total five cars were damaged.
To get the situation under control, police had to shoot 15 rubber bullets.
The man was questioned on Sunday before being released. Police described the man being in an absent state during his rage.
