Four major motorway on-ramps closed during rush hour in Liège

Four on ramps at the E40/E25 link in Liège are closed on Thursday morning due to a "technical failure of dynamic signalling", said the spokeswoman for Sofico, the public body that manages Wallonia's road infrastructure.

These accesses are temporarily closed, she said. The same phenomenon had already occurred on Monday evening.

Ramps for Les Guillemins and Val Benoît in the direction of Luxembourg, and Belle île/Grosses Battes and Val Benoît in the direction of Brussels have been impacted.

Motorists are asked to "adapt their route". The teams "put everything in place to restore the situation".

Between 70,000 and 90,000 vehicles pass through the link every day. They are particularly numerous during rush hour.
