Farmers’ protests on Monday night are causing problems on the E34 near Eeklo in both directions, according to a statement issued by the Flemish Traffic Centre at around 10 p.m.
The Brussels inner and outer ring around Wemmel still present challenging conditions, the Centre said.
Strong disruptions have been reported since Monday morning on the inner and outer ring near Halle, between Ittre and Huizingen.
Over the past hour, a small group of protesters from Mechelen-Noord moved towards Brussels on the E19, causing congestion on the Brussels inner ring at the Vilvoorde viaduct, spokesperson Katrien Kiekens reported.
