Saturday’s weather is set to be mostly cloudy but should remain dry until the end of the day, with highs potentially reaching 14 degrees, according to forecasts from the Meteorological Institute (IRM).
On Saturday, a band of rain will move across the south-eastern part of the country, heading towards the north in the afternoon and evening.
Highs range from 8 degrees in the High Fens to 13 or 14 degrees in Flanders, with a light to moderate south to southeast wind.
Overnight from Saturday to Sunday, conditions will stay mostly cloudy, marked by bouts of moderate rain in places. As the night progresses, the weather will become drier, yet some drizzle may persist. Minimum temperatures will vary between 3 degrees in the Ardennes and 7 to 8 degrees in Flanders.
Sunday’s weather scenario will remain largely overcast. After a dry morning, showers will move across the country from west to east in the afternoon. The high temperatures are expected to be between 5 degrees in the High Fens and 10 degrees in Flanders, with a moderate wind.
