The HANO area police halted a rave party on Sunday morning under a N74 bridge in Pelt, Limburg, confirmed the Mayor of Pelt Dennis Fransen.

"At about 09:00 this morning, the police force received a call," Fransen said. Officers immediately arrived at the scene with support from colleagues in Lommel, Kempenland, and Beringen-Ham-Tessenderlo zones. Over thirty vehicles were already onsite.

The would-be ravers were setting up sound systems. The mayor continued, "There were no noise complaints," indicating the start was imminent.

While several media outlets report that around 150 people were present on the scene, the mayor did not confirm this. By the time he arrived, most partygoers had already left, leaving only five vehicles behind.

Police will continue monitoring the area under the bridge in the coming hours. Those remaining are peacefully enjoying the sun. The police noted down the registration plates of the vehicles early Sunday morning for investigation purposes.
