A 37-year-old man has been arrested in Uccle, Brussels, suspected of having killed his wife in the family apartment.
The incident allegedly took place in front of the couple's three children Het Nieuwsblad reports.
According to the daily, the man himself alerted the police after the stabbing and declared that he had killed his wife.
Ambulance arrived at the scene around 10:30 am, but could not save the woman’s life.
The suspect has been arrested by police but is yet to be interrogated.
The couple’s three children who were witnesses of the killing have been taken to their grandfather.
