Evening rush hours are set to be severely impacted after a broken down train cause two tracks at Brussels North station to shut down on Tuesday afternoon, according to Belgian railway company.

“In Brussels-North two tracks are out of service due to a broken train. We expect the disruption in Brussels North to continue until at least 18:00”, said SNCB on Twitter.

Suburban trains on the S10 service, have resumed service, after the national rail company said they would not stop at Brussels Central and Brussels North.

IC trains from Knocke and Ostend originally travelling to Brussels Airport, will now terminate at Brussels South.
