One person was injured in a shootout which took place near Brussels' Gare du Nord under circumstances which have not yet been made clear, the public prosecutor office said Monday.
The incident took place at around 01:00 AM on Monday in the rail station, located in the northern Brussels municipality of Schaerbeek.
A forensic expert and a medical examiner were called to the site, and the public prosecutor's office said that the victim's injuries were not lethal, according to La Dernière Heure.
The details of the incident, including the victim or the perpetrator's identities, are yet to be determined.
