The Laecken Police station targeted by petrol bombs, 8 people arrested

Riots kicked off on Tuesday evening in the Brussels commune of Laecken, according to information from the VRT, which was confirmed by local police. Several petrol bombs were launched at the Police station, in the avenue Émile Bockstael. No-one was hurt, but the entrance of the Police station was severely damaged. Eight people have been arrested.

The cause of the uprising is not yet known. The Prosecutor’s Office will release more information tomorrow/Wednesday.
