Trains between Diest and Hasselt have been running again since Friday morning at around 7.20am, Infrabel says. Traffic had to be stopped on Thursday morning following a collision between a train and a carriage on a crossing in Schulen. Trains must however take into account a 40km/h speed limit on a 200m stretch of track around where the accident took place. This “could cause delays of around 2 mins”, says Leslie Buyle from Infrabel.
