Between 350,000 and 400,000 people attended the 15th Brussels les Bains. It took place at the Quai des Péniches from the 3rd of July to the 9th of August. There was a particularly summery atmosphere for the wide range of cultural events, sports activities and all types of leisure events. There was also a tasting of culinary specialties, Marina Bresciani, Head of Communication for Brussels les Bains, said on Sunday. “Over time, Brussels has made a success of it and turned its main summer event into an unrivalled meeting place and somewhere people exchange. For the five weeks of the event, the neighbourhood where Brussels les Bains is held really comes to life, and it has become the go-to event for a more and more varied audience. People come from all four corners of the world, and from all cultures and generations”, the event organisers say.

“Children and their families could enjoy activities in a sheltered and cordoned-off area. There were also concerts, sports initiations, pedalo trips, etc. Work colleagues out for lunch or a drink enjoyed pretty, well-decorated terraces and varied dishes, in a summery and relaxed atmosphere”, they added.

“There was also a bit of culture, with “literature walks”, and night owls were able to party to the rhythms of the capital’s best DJs at the BoatClub and la  Croisetteke”, they said.
