The VUB launches a transcontinental economic diplomacy training course

The Brussels Diplomatic Academy (BDA), part of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), will start a transcontinental economic diplomacy training course in September. This will allow students to do their training in Brussels, Shanghai, and/or Washington D.C., the Flemish University said in a press release on Monday. The BDA offers a complementary Masters in economic diplomacy, international commerce and investments, and another one in economic diplomacy and international business, which both last three semesters.

Students enrolled on one of these courses can now do part of their curriculum in Shanghai and/or Washington, on condition they pay the additional fees required by the host university. “By doing this, students not only gain general knowledge, they also gain experience in applying economic diplomacy in three affluent nations”, the press release says.

The BDA says it is a good way to improve student’s chances of success in diplomacy exams, and ensure their professional success.
