A Bulgarian man who tried to smuggle an Albanian miner into Great Britain was arrested at Brussels Airport on Saturday.
The young Albanian miner had a false passport. The early stages of the investigation have shown that the traffickers were paid to get the child into Great Britain.
The Bulgarian was handed over to an investigating judge, who will decide whether he will be remanded in custody, the Hal-Vilvorde Prosecutor’s Office said on Sunday.
