Over 80,000 people marched in Brussels on Wednesday, revealed a first estimation by the police force. The joint union front organising the protest movement put forward a figure of 100,000 protesters.
Belga press agency was on site at the start of the march, and saw a crowd spreading from Brussels’ Gare du Nord train station to Boulevard Pachéco.
The march reached its destination, Gare du Midi station, at approximately 1:00 p.m for scheduled speeches by union leaders.
