A brawl broke out Tuesday evening at the West station in Molenbeek between a group of youths and some military personnel. One youngster was injured and arrested while the others fled the scene, indicated on Tuesday the Police of the zone, confirming earlier reports of the incident in the Dernière Heure newspaper.
The incident took place at 18h00 when military personnel deployed on the street spotted six youngsters fighting each other. The military notified the police and intervened in the scene. Several of the youths suddenly turned against them.
One of the military soldiers’ used his baton and lightly injured one of the youths. The rest of the group fled the scene when they heard the police sirens. The injured was taken to the hospital to get treatment.
