Brussels attacks: Free hotel rooms for those affected

The hotels in Brussels continue to provide free rooms to those who were affected by the terror attacks. This said Rodolphe Van Weyenbergh, spokesperson for the hotel association in Brussels.

In total, several hundred rooms are now made available according to the spokesperson. A hot-line which was set up for people looking for a place to stay received almost 150 calls.

The impact of the attacks on reservations during the Easter holiday was not yet known.

The latest count on Wednesday morning of the casualties in the two terror attacks yesterday is “about 31 people dead” and 260 wounded according to health minister Maggie De Block.
