Brussels attacks: Victims are being identified at military hospital

The identification of the victims who were killed in the attack at Maelbeek metro station continues at the military hospital in Neder-Over-Heembeek.

A spokesperson for the hospital, Bernard Bolly, told on Friday that two areas of the hospital have been dedicated to the identification. The work is carried out by a special unit of the federal police.

"One of the areas is reserved for the victims’ families, who help with the identification. The teams are working hard day and night,” the spokesperson says.

According to media reports the dead and wounded come from more than 40 countries.
