Of the 31 killed in the attacks at Brussels airport and Maelbeek metro station 24 have been formally identified. This said Ine Van Wymersch, spokesperson for the public prosecutor in Brussels. Of the about 340 injured persons, 101 are still at hospital, including 23 in intensive care, a spokesperson for the public health ministry said.
32 persons suffered severe burn injuries. The have been admitted to specialized care units throughout Belgium where they are treated by experts and will be monitored closely during their rehabilitation.
