Trade unions reject proposal for opening of Zaventem airport

Police demand systematic control of all people entering the buildings at the airport. On Thursday evening (31 March) their trade unions rejected a proposal from the authorities on a partial restart of passenger traffic, news agency Belga was told.

Negotiations between the airport police and the authorities broke down earlier on Thursday. The ministry of interior affairs submitted a new proposal which met some of the police demands.
