Several people have been arrested following a police operation that was carried out Friday midday targeting a hotel room on Avenue de Stalingrad, next to the Brussels South train station. Police and bomb squad units arrived to the “Austrian Auberge” hotel, situated on Avenue de Stalingrad and Frederic Basse street.
The police security perimeter on Avenue Stalingrad has since been lifted, indicated the Brussels Ixelles police in a communication.
