Due to strike on Friday (24 June) passengers are recommended to travel if possible only with hand luggage. Passengers are also asked to leave home in good time because of busy traffic on A201 leading to the airport.
Baggage handling could be affected. Brussels Airport also invites passengers to check in online.
Regarding hand luggage, passengers must take into account the restrictions imposed by the airlines and the safety regulations on airplanes, said the airport. It is also recommended passengers to put important items in the hand luggage: travel documents, medication, keys, money, jewelry, etc.
Due to the strike action on Friday, access to the air freight handler (Brucago) is blocked by the unions. Only special transports are allowed. Discount parking is available instead.
