Brussels Airlines flew 788,491 passengers in July. That’s 5.2% more than July 2015, the Airline announced on Friday.
“Brussels Airlines welcomed a record number of passengers onto its flights during the first and last weekends in July”, a company press release said.
July included the ‘Tomorrowland’ music festival, and Brussels Airlines welcomed more than 10,000 people onto its ‘party-flights’ during that period.
The number of passengers on the Belgian company’s European flights has gone up by 3.9%, while the number of passengers on its flights to Canada and the United States has gone up by 44.8%. This is thanks to a new Toronto link.
The number of passengers on its African flights has gone up by 1.9%.
The occupation rate for Brussels Airlines flights went up to 82.7% in July, which is similar to last year.
