Responsible Young Drivers create “alcohol kiosk” in Brussels

Responsible Young Drivers will inaugurate their alcohol kiosk Friday night in Brussels. At the “Apéros Urbains” event to take place at Mont des Arts, near the central station, drivers will be able to measure their alcohol level.

This kiosk will be open at Mont des Arts in Brussels from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. Friday. Sober drivers will get a prize. And for those having had too much to drink, “we will call Uber to take them home safely, with a discount on the fare,” explained Xan Vranckaert of Responsible Young Drivers.

Drivers of all ages will be welcome Friday night for testing their level of alcohol. One out of ten accidents in Brussels is the result of driving under the influence.

In the future the kiosk will serve other parts of Brussels and other cities.
