Car valet service confirmed for Brussels following successful trial

After a test phase considered very successful this summer, a traffic service will be established in Brussels beginning October 1st.

This was announced Tuesday by Howard Agency, the company behind the initiative of this service.

Named "Valet in the City", this traffic project will be launched October 1st on boulevard de Waterloo, with “the aim of unclogging traffic jams in the city of Brussels and also allowing merchants to recapture potential clients who had left” Brussels, explained the company in a communiqué.

Two desks will be present for serving the users of the service. Concretely, the valets take the client vehicles and once the person has finished his or her activities, the car is left at the desired location.

“Therefore Brussels residents who wish to take advantage of this service will from now on be relieved of the stress of finding a parking place.” The valet service will operate all Friday afternoons, Saturdays and the first Sundays of the month.
