In Search of Utopia, the final weeks

The exhibition 'In Search of Utopia’ at M – Museum, Leuven, will have welcomed 50,000 visitors by the end of this week. The exhibition and the 500 Years Utopia city festival are entering their final weeks. To give everyone the chance to see this exhibition, M – Museum will be open on the two Wednesdays during the Christmas period (when the museum is normally closed). Furthermore, on the final day of the exhibition, Tuesday 17 January, M will be open until 10 PM.

The exhibition In Search of Utopia, which opened on 20 October, will have welcomed 50,000 visitors by the end of this week.

Thomas More’s Utopia still inspires social experiments in Europe. In Oulu in Northern Finland, the local government is going to select 2 000 unemployed people and provide them a universal basic salary, without any conditions. The intention is encourage people to take a new job or start their own business without risking losing their social benefits if they will earn extra income.
