Eight searches were led in the Brussels region today (Wednesday). This was part of a terrorism case, per information which appeared on La Dernière Heure's (DH) website.
This was confirmed to the Belga press agency by the Federal Prosecutor's Office.
DH says that these searches made by anti-terror units, were particularly targeting residences located in Molenbeek, Schaerbeek, Anderlecht and Laeken.
It is thought that several people were taken away for questioning as a result of the searches.
