Brussels attacks: prayer vigil on March 22nd at the St Michael and St Gudula cathedral
A prayer vigil is to take place on March 22nd at 6 p.m., in the Cathedral of St Michel and Gudula, in Brussels.

A prayer vigil is to take place on March 22nd at 6 p.m. in the Cathedral of St Michael and Gudula in Brussels. This was indicated yesterday (Wednesday) by Monsignor Jean Kockerols, the Auxiliary Bishop for the Brussels region.

Cardinal Jozef De Kesel will preside over this time of prayer for the victims of the attacks which struck Zaventem airport and the Maelbeek metro station.

The Catholic authorities have said that everyone is welcome. Their message is, “Upon the first anniversary of the attacks which plunged Brussels into a state of grief, all Christians in Brussels, and all men and women who wish to do so, are invited to gather in the cathedral.”
